Experiments were conducted using DTX-sensitive DU-145 cells and DTX-resistant DU145/DTX cells. The results indicate that PPVII significantly enhanced the inhibitory effect of DTX, reduced cell viability, and promoted apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.
